Aruze O Hanabi Pachislo (Skill Stop) Slot Machine.
This machine does not take quarters and will only work with Pachislo tokens which come with the machine and can be purchased online. The machine can be converted to quarters but, would then be illegal to possess in the state of Connecticut.
I did some research and found out that this machine was originally released in xxxx by the Aruze company. The name O Hanabi means Fireworks. The machine is also the first in a line of Don Chan pachislo machines, named for the character on the reels. Aruze did not realize how popular the character would become after the release of this machine and thus, hadn't named the machine after the character.
I believe I got this machine in xxxx or xxxx. It has hardly been used since that time.
It was originally used in a Japanese gaming parlor and is fully functioning. Bonus round/jackpot results in tri-colored lights blinking on either side of the bonus reel on top.
This machine is FULLY FUNCTIONING and has the original manufacturer's key, instead of a skeleton or generic key as some machines have. The machine is sold with tokens included and a traditional Japanese gaming parlor tray for tokens. Additional Pachislo tokens can be purchased on-line through various companies.
The face of the machine has no cracks in the glass and is in excellent condition.
You can adjust the difficulty level and volume through controls on the inside.
There are some minor flaws with the machine that have been there since I have owned it. There are some minor cosmetic dings and scratches on the cabinet of the machine which do not affect gameplay or overall appearance. There are also some bulbs that are burned out and tokens will occasionally miss the hopper in the machine when being put in to the coin slot. As with any slot machine, hopper jams can happen and are easy to clear.
I purchased this machine for around $400 and am looking for $250 or best offer. I have seen this 4-reel model go anywhere from $400-650 online, depending on seller. This item is CASH and PICKUP ONLY. No delivery. Perfect for the family game room or poker/bar room in the home.
