Summary of Position:
We are looking to hire a skilled and degreed engineer for a civil engineering company located in the Hartford County, CT. The qualified candidate must have a Connecticut PE license, and strong experience surveying and interpreting various, civil infrastructures. The ability to self:motivate and to work independently is imperative, and the employee will report to and work closely with the owner. A strong attention to detail and sensitivity to meet deadlines is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing 3D models for machine grade control
* Preparing and managing designs, reports, drawings, and project resources
* Identifying and resolving problems efficiently
* Serving as a professional liaison with both clients and contractors
* Communicating directly to the owner of the company
* Performing on:site surveying work and inspections while adhering to guidelines and specifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
* Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Connecticut
* Minimum of 5 years of experience
Sufficient knowledge and experience in surveying civil infrastructures
Ability to read, analyze and interpret design grades
Proficiency in computer design software programs
Capability to work independently, proficiently, and multi:task
General computer and Microsoft Office skills
