MP Systems is a rapidly growing manufacturer of High Pressure Coolant Systems as well as other accessories for the CNC machining industry. Our company designs, builds, installs, and services systems for various machine:tool manufacturers all over the world. MP Systems is a division of Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America.
We are looking for a responsible, knowledgeable, self:driven Engineer to join our team in East Granby, CT. This position provides excellent opportunities for career advancement within our growing organization.
Job Responsibilities
The Engineer will have an understanding of electrical systems in order to effectively design systems, diagnose machine failures, identify root causes, and resolve issues with electrical. This position will provide a solid understanding of all company projects, and an understanding of how multiple systems integrate and work together. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
:Systems designing including: PLC programs, PCBs, Motor Controls, N.F.P.A 79, and more
:Managing and maintaining Electrical Schematics and documentation
:Creating new and modifying existing PLC Programs using Ladder Logic Software
:Designing and modifying PCBs to integrate control systems
:Understanding and implementing proper 3 Phase Systems
:Providing technical phone support; offering real time solutions and service directly to customers
:Supporting
Production/Assembly through training and education to enhance productivity
Job Requirement
:A successful candidate should have experience in electrical engineering, and/or equivalent on:the:job experience with related systems
:5 years relevant (PLC/Motor Control) experience required
:PLC Programming and configuration
:PCB Design Experience or Knowledge
:Panel Shop Experience
:Knowledge and experience with Electrical CAD software
:Technical aptitude/strong problem solving skills
