Looking for an Electrical Project Manager in the Hartford, CT area. Responsibilities:Set clear expectations of job foremen by providing coaching/counseling along with overseeing that professional goals of personnel are being reachedManage on the job performance with site visits to ensure timely completion of projectsConsistent enforcement of NFPA 70EGenerate RFQ's and complete light estimatingAccountable for material ordering and tracking, scheduling, equipment rentals, obtaining pertinent permits/licenses and management of PTE equipmentEffectively communicate project status with clients and management.Responsible for Change order and material return managementReview billings to make sure projects are completed within budgetary guidelinesComplete post project wrap up meetings and determine areas for future improvementEnsure compliance to strict safety standards by coordinating training meetings Requirements:2+ years' experience as a Project Manager in electrical contracting/construction fieldLicense Electrician with industrial and commercial experience preferredHigh degree of initiative, work without supervisionOutstanding interpersonal skills and have the ability to tactfully and efficiently communicate with clients and organization at all levels.Problem solving skillsBasic computer ability Additional Information:We offer competitive wages and benefits.A clean driving record and background check is required.
