Job Description:/h3:
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join an aerospace manufacturing company in the Hartford area. The right candidate will have experience in designing parts and managing projects using reverse engineering.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
:Working closely with a Project Engineer to develop a design and creating a drawing in Solidworks for various aerospace parts
:Signing off on final designs for further approvals
:Reverse engineering parts to determine processes for manufacturing
:Managing the dimensional and material analysis to determine the design parameters of the part
:Reviewing Jet Engine and Aircraft manuals to determine the function and eligibility of the part
:Developing a Safety Assessment to determine the criticality of the part
:Mentoring and collaborating with a Project Engineer
Qualifications:
:Bachelors Degree in Engineering
:5:10 years of engineering experience within the aerospace industry
:Experience with reverse engineering
:Experience with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD
:Strong written and verbal communications
:Microsoft Office and other general computer skills
