Essential Job Functions:
* Provide part and process verification of aerospace components produced at Tier 1, 2, 3 suppliers.
* Drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures and specification requirements
* Conduct Process Capability, Statistical Process Control, Capacity Assessment, Rate Readiness Assessments, Risk Assessments, Gage R and R studies of the supply base to meet QuESTs customers quantity and schedule demands
* Special process Audits, Quality System Audits, Supplier Health Assessments, Value stream mapping, First Article assessment, FAIR
* Be the technical focal regarding design intent, material processing, and part inspection/ qualification through direct interfacing with the identified supply base
* Quality Clinic, Drawing Revision and Review, MRB, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, Controlled build review, Lean Tools, ACE Tools, Red X, UPPAP
Secondary Job Functions:
* Support project management and program management to quote and close work packages
* Develop work instructions to implement best practices/ lessons learned and ensure repeatability
* Collaborate, mentor, and train other QuEST Team Members.
* Participate in technical reviews within your knowledge base
Specialized Knowledge/ Skills
* Ability to work under minimal supervision to execute the Essential Job Functions required
* Ability to interpret Engineering drawings/ GD and T specifications required
* Review level knowledge of the UPPAP and FAI processes desired
* Knowledge of Aerospace products, manufacturing process planning/ measurement and PFMEA desired
* Ability to managing vendors in the aerospace industry desired
* Experience with ASxxxx, ISOxxxx, APQP, QMS, Lean/Six Sigma preferred
* SAP/ MPR/ ERP system familiarity preferred
* Proficiency with MS Office products Excel and PowerPoint required
Education, Training, and Experience
* 10:20 years in Supply Chain/ Quality Management, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
* 1+ years in the Aerospace domain preferred
* BS degree in Engineering or Technical field (or equivalent experience)
* Project Management, Training, Auditing experience strongly preferred
* ASQ or similar certifications preferred
