Title: Account Coordinator-Large Property Location: United States-Connecticut-Hartford Other Locations: Description Responsible for loss analysis, essential services, rating, issuance and policy maintenance of large National Property accounts Working directly with underwriter and broker to secure new and maintain renewal business through effective relationship management and support May participate in broker visits to cultivate broker relationships Complexity/Level of Work Responsible for the booking of large $ premiums, SOX implications o Sizes of accounts are large so loss of just 1 account due to service issues has a significant impact. Customization of policies - Complexity of the policies due to customization, manual scripting of forms, etc. Catastrophic risk evaluation inclusive of perils such as flood and terrorism analysis amongst others Relationship management - Direct contact with the broker on all issues inclusive of pre-sale, post-sale and maintenance needs Primary contact to coordinate problem resolution with other internal business units (Billing, Audit, AR&PD, Compliance, Loss Control, Coding) Organizes and facilitates internal kick-off meetings with all internal parties for new account set-ups. Technical/Functional Skills Acts as primary contact for agents, insured's, and business partners; initiates outbound calls involving requests for account/product/procedural information, problem research and/or resolution explaining expected outcomes clearly and succinctly. Advanced excel skills required due to nature of submissions and key functionality Effective verbal and written communications and problem solving skills. Handles routine inbound customer inquiries and initiates outbound calls as necessary. Independently validates sold and policy issuance processes Proven ability to implement change. Remains abreast of product and procedural changes. Manages accounts on program details, sales support & strategies (may require broker visits). Customer focused. Technically proficient in all aspects of servicing. Demonstrates a high level understanding of the end to end account processing functionality Consistently demonstrates New & Renewal Business acquisition skills to effectively follow up on Approved/Pending Order submissions and identify cross-sell opportunities.
