POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the real property collateral valuation process and provision of assurance to Risk Management regarding the quality and value of collateral and assets.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Perform analyses on commercial real estate appraisals and market trends.
Ensure conformance to Websters commercial real estate appraisal policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Recommend improvements and/or enhancements to departmental procedures.
Monitor performance and quality of outside vendors utilized in the collateral valuation process; take action where changes are necessary.
Review valuation reports.
Continually expand knowledge of current topics, trends, and developments in commercial real estate appraisals.
Act as a resource for Associate Appraiser.
