In your role as an Unplanned Maintenance Technician, Avionic designated for the Hartford Business Aircraft Service Center, you will perform troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, avionics, electrical, and/or electronic systems, wherever it is located. which may include travel and International assignments. Additional work on drop:ins within the facility and planned maintenance during slow periods of unplanned maintenance may be required.
The Unplanned Maintenance Group will be comprised of technicians that are hangar based and are assigned to drop:in aircraft and technicians that travel and are assigned to AOG aircraft. For the technician assigned to AOG aircraft, there will be considerable travel and extended assignments within North America. Must have the ability to be ready to travel with as little as 2 hours notice. Potential for International travel for extended periods of time and possibly to remote areas with few modern conveniences. Unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays may occur.
Qualifications

As our ideal candidate you will:
: You typically will have a minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance work experience with 1 year of corporate jet experience.
: You would of attended a Avionic/electroinic AC Technical school or other substantiated equivalent schooling
: Unscheduled overtime including weekends and holidays will occur
: You will have Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned employees, other business areas, contractors, and customers
: You will have a valid drivers license
: Ability to communicate easily and accurately with customers at all levels
: Ability to work independently
: Ability to read and understand electical engineering drawings
: Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
: Ability to obtain a Bombardier Corporate Credit Card
: You will have basic PC skills
: You will have a basic set of hand tools
: You will have demonstrated the ability to train other employees
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 2 years of Avionics / Electrical experience on Bombardier Aircraft
: A and P Certificate (for positions other than Tech A / P)
: 5 years of Line Maintenance experience
: FSR experience
: Bi:lingual (Spanish)
