Must possess a high level of critical thinking skills, advanced sales skills, problem solving skills, as well as objection handling skills. Ability to successfully define work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Ability to develop and manage departmental budgets and/or business plans for a mid-size department or business unit. Strong focus on process improvement. Ability to Identify resource needs and develop justification. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve very complex problems. Ability to recommend/determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company. Demonstrated skill in leading successful functions or projects. BA / BS degree required. Demonstrated understanding of sales cycle and specific strategies and tactics to protect and win business. Five plus years of experience calling on all levels of hospital laboratory departments and documented success within this market. Previous sales management experience preferred. Ability to motivate and inspire business partners to achieve sales and financial goals.
