Understand customer’s business drivers and position QuEST offerings to meet those requirements. Establish and maintain contacts and build relationships with various customers through periodic sales calls, networking, written communication Identify capabilities, performance and trends of competitors Keep CRM Database up to date and provide status reports on a monthly basis Ultimate responsibility for growing market share in USA and responsible for the revenue and profitable growth of the business Desired Industry Experience Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry with key contacts and network across the major OEMs and Tier 1s. Experience successfully selling engineering service solutions. Experience negotiating and closing multi-million dollar deals. Network of key contacts & relationships with customers in the US.Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and/or product development knowledge Experience working for, or with, a large OEM 12 + years of relevant experience Baseline Responsibilities STRATEGY Develop & operationalize a plan to acquire new customers in the USA. Build and grow Accounts profitably by developing in-depth strategies to up sell and cross sell and grow the Accounts Formulate strategies for exploring additional business opportunities with the clients through Account Mapping, Research & base-lining with Customers Create plans to build barriers to entry for the competition (how to keep them out) and barriers to exit for the customer (sticky relationships & services) Evolve and implement a brand building strategy, including promotional methods commensurate with the projects position to be achieved in the targeted clients Implement strategies for decreasing competitor’s share in the customers’ outsourcing spend while growing QuEST share OPERATIONAL/CUSTOMER Develop business plans and proposals to realize the revenue targets. Execute an in-depth analysis of business potential at clients including competitive analysis, assessment of threats and opportunities, etc and develop strategies and approaches for consolidation and growth. Develop opportunities for QuEST to grow business by providing innovative and value added unsolicited solutions to the Accounts Share plans on a periodic basis with key stakeholders on the Account Team and obtain their buy-in and commitment Evaluate technical options and develop project proposals in consultation with the operations team for converting low end services into value added services. Monitor solutions mix and profitability of each service line for the Account Develop a relationship matrix of key leaders, decisions makers, stakeholders and influencers with the Account to support the business development process. FINANCIAL Meet and beat quarterly and annual revenue targets Exceed Gross Margin expectations working with the Operations Business Units Ability to successfully negotiate commercial terms & conditions consistent with company goals PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Lead and guide extended team by providing technical guidance in the area of business development, training and the required growth opportunities to ensure that subordinates are developed for higher-level roles Lead Cross-Functional team for Strategy & Proposal development , Desired Technical Skills Business Development – Opening, solution development and closing Large Account & Business Relationship Management Commercial Negotiations Creative & unsolicited solution development with minimal customer requirements Engineering background – Design or Manufacturing Engineering Required Skills Customer focus & teamwork Outstanding interpersonal / relationship and customer facing skills Outstanding Oral & Written communication & presentation skills Execution excellence & accountability Solid business acumen & strategic thinking Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity & energy Ability & willingness to work at all levels of the organization within QuEST Willingness & ability to travel globally Experience driving proposals to completion Ability to work with Cross Functional Teams 12 + years of relevant experience US Citizen
