Supports the development and implementation of customized products and product enhancements. Responsible for developing, planning, and carrying out account administration department projects, goals, and budgets.The Director of Sales Operations (DSO) is a market-based role complementary to the Sales Managers and Sales Distribution Lead and will report to the General Manager. The DSO is internally oriented with a focus on the marketplace as well as local office interaction. This role manages local market priorities and projects, including but not limited to business planning, distribution relations, lead prospecting and sales education.Key Responsibilities:- Own and evolve management reporting, including process, analytics, and presentation of critical business metrics, to enable effective sales/ market management.- Coordinate local market strategic priorities and monthly stakeholder meetings.- Design and develop key presentation efforts in support of executive site visits/ milestone events.- Drive data integrity of Salesforce.com, Membership Reporting Tools, and local market weekly management reports, to effectively track client retention risk and new sales pipeline activity.- Develop monthly APEX projections, in partnership with Sales Management, and inform development of various annual sales plans, including specialty product penetration.- Partner with Sales, using knowledge of company products, services, support and technology, to help drive business plans and development activities to meet and exceed revenue and customer success targets.- Coordinate sales operations (e.g. account transfers) and communications between Regional Office and other Markets/ Segments; share sales operations best practices across Northeast.- Operate as a liaison between Regional Office and Home Office project/ product managers to drive efficient local implementations of enterprise initiatives.- Manage sales partnership activities related to MVP Alliance, mediating escalated issues and driving collaboration across Cigna Sales, Cigna''s Alliance Team, and MVP executives.- Oversee local market expense budgeting and risk mitigation; monitor Performance Guarantees that do not meet compliance dates to minimize local earnings deterioration.Qualifications:- Demonstrated proficiency in account strategy development and execution.- Bachelor''s Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.- 5+ years of Industry related experience, Sales experience preferred.- 3-5 years of Operations related experience preferred.- Experienced leader with experience leading a team.- Analytical and Synthesizing Skills.- Initiates and Champions Innovation and Improvement.- Collaborative Teamwork.- Develops Talented People.- Values and Manages Diversity.- Results Orientation.CIGNA offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness benefits, 401k plan, and work/life balance programs, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.We encourage you to complete all questions on the candidate profile if you wish to be considered for this opportunity.CIGNA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
