xxxx095 - Dymax Corporation , a leader in the Acrylic Adhesive and UV Curing Industry, is seeking a highly motivated, team orientated individual to join our Sales and Marketing Department as the Sales Manager - Oligomers & Coatings. The Sales Manager Oligomers & Coatings is responsible for management (personally or through team) of Global Sales & Sales Channel Partners. They will develop sales and marketing programs to meet and exceed organic and inorganic growth targets as established by the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors. They are responsible for sales growth of specific niche markets (i.e. Oligomers, Coatings and other product lines as they may be developed). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Attainment of sales targets for specific niche developmental products or markets. Metrics for success will focus on sales achievement to budgeted levels. Develop, recruit and manage channels and partners as appropriate and approved by Executive Management Team to support market needs and opportunities. Terminate non-responsive and non-performing Sales channels and partners. Manage global opportunities pipeline to increase O&C market share and maximize revenue generation. May include personal and/or subordinate travel to other geographies to aid in sales closure in all areas of the world. Position requires extensive travel (up to 50%). Create and conduct presentations to/for target accounts. Develop and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Development of training requirements for Sales and Marketing personnel to ensure short and long term growth goals are met for the company. Metrics for success include development of usable training outline(s) for sales/application development process. Work with marketing to provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing for “off-book” price needs while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Work with Marketing to create and send accurate pricing proposals to customers. Maintain quotation files to ensure accurate implementation. Work with the Customer Service Team to review incoming orders and suggest appropriate products for value-add sales where applicable. Identification of opportunities for inorganic growth. Metrics include definition of product fit in O&C line, market size opportunity, and sales expectations. International transition of key market opportunities as needed to maximize revenue, minimize transition time and expense. Metrics for success include successful retention/growth of transfer opportunities. Coordinate resolution of customer complaints and problems in conjunction with the appropriate O&C resources. Accomplish all of the above via a strong sense of teamwork and at all times consistent with the Dymax vision/mission statements., EOE D/M/F/V EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: BA or BS in a technical field with MBA or the equivalent industry experience required; a minimum of 5 years of successful industrial sales and market growth. Must be skilled in usage of Microsoft Office software.
