SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Learning and Effectiveness Experience Director, the Claim University Senior Learning Facilitator is responsible for delivering exceptional live and virtual learning experiences while seamlessly integrating technical, customer, leadership, systems and other concepts which directly results in the claim professional's ability to be the Travelers brand with every customer, in every interaction, every time. Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
: Possess and impart subject matter expertise in General Liability
: Demonstrate abilities in facilitation best practices that affect a measurable knowledge transfer in live, virtual, and blended classroom/lab learning events
: Lead the technical and functional development of learning facilitators
: Understand the impact of learning solutions on Claim's strategy
: Create an environment in which learners feel secure, respected and cared for
: Provide feedback to Claim U partners on program effectiveness and opportunities for improvement
: Be the Face of the exceptional Claim U experience
: Adhere to Claim University Learning Facilitator work standards, knowledge guides and best practices
: Partner with the Solutions team to contribute value to learning product design
: Drive a culture that supports different learning approaches, both formal and informal, application to real life job responsibilities and leveraging resources
: Identify and drive the use of common training solutions across multiple lines of business
: Consult and partner with Line Leads and Line of Business Partners (Product and Field) on changes to curricula, development opportunities for staff and performance support.
Education, Work Experience and KnowledgeQUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
: Minimum of eight years claim experience in General Liability including coverage analysis, contractual risk transfer, investigation, liability assessment, injury evaluation and litigation
: Leadership experience which resulted in excellence of employee engagement and successful business results preferred
: Change leadership and process improvement skills
: Excellent customer service and communication skills
: Coaching/mentoring experience preferred
: Ability to effectively and professionally influence others at all levels without use of formal authority
: Training experience a plus
: Demonstrable proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
