Job SummaryPerforms intermediate accounting functions or responsibilities requiring general supervision.
Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesReconciles transactions with the system and coordinates settlements. Resolves problems related to financial transactions. Resolves inquiries from internal customers, business unit owners, and/or vendors . Performs some analysis pertaining to financial transactions. Assists in obtaining, assembling, evaluating, interpreting, recording and analyzing financial data. May assist in preparation of financial reports. May prepare journals for reallocations where necessary. Provides training and guidance to lower level accounting specialists. Other duties as assigned.
Job Specific and Technical Skills and CompetenciesEffective verbal and written communication skills.PC spreadsheet and database experience
Education, Work Experience and KnowledgeHigh school diploma or equivalent required College degree or equivalent work experience preferredMinimum of 2:4 years experience Large volume transaction experience preferred
