COCC is currently seeking a Software Developer to code specific standard applications and design, repair or enhance software. Primary Responsibilities Designs and codes solutions for specials, conversions, enhancements and defects Reviews inputs, processes, outputs Changes or corrects codes as needed including making library code changes Unit tests all code changes Develops operator instructions where necessary Troubleshoots system problems Handles Customer Service questions concerning existing and/or new functionality May train internal staff on application changes or functionality of enhancements May provide support for off-hours production issues Assists in testing functionality and researches problems discovered Works on possible follow-up unit testing Assists Customer Service with writing release notes and system documentation Prepares project status reports as required May prepare sizing/work estimates for assigned enhancements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Ability to work with and understand confidential information Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, equations and permutations to problems Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as amortizations, schedules, frequency distributions, internal rates of return, analyses of variance and correlation techniques Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Knowledge of several high-level programming languages Knowledge of OO Concepts Knowledge of Relational Database concepts Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET WebForms, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL Server or Oracle PL/SQL Ability to occasionally work more than 40 hours and occasional weekend work COCC offers an attractive compensation and benefits package including; Medical, Dental, Paid Day Off for Birthdays, Tuition Assistance, 401K / Profit Sharing and much more!
