The HF-1A spindle bar feed is an adjustable, air-operated assembly designed to feed small bar stock
through a 5C spindle. It provides continuous, piston-fed air pressure that pushes the stock whenever
the collet is open.
Features:
The HF-1A fits through a machines draw tube and into the 5C collet, and can remain in place while
collets are changed.
The bar feed features an adjustable feed rate, and is for spindle speeds of up to 3,000 rpm maximum.
It can handle lengths of bar stock to a maximum of 2', with a maximum diameter of 3/4" round.
It also can feed stock of other shapes within the capacity of the tube.
The unit itself rotates with the bar stock to minimize the possibility of bar rattle and whiplash.
